Vermont

I'm here with Doug in the Sterling College computer lab (if you'd call it that). It's a little risky, so we're pretending to be students writing papers or whatever other bullshit college kids do nowadays. We made the long drive up north to visit some of Sarah's old college friends in this quaint little Vermont town. After a couple of beers at the Bonz, the local tavern (it's actually pronounced bones, oddly enough), we had no problem sleeping out in the open once again in a little half-built log cabin.

We did a fast hike up to a fire tower on the top of a mountain today in a place called Elmore. It felt like we were on top of the world with manned gliders and birds of prey swooping by. It's so amazing being back in the outdoors again - something I sorely missed in NYC. Vermont actually reminds me alot of the Irish country side, minus the Guinness signs poking out of buildings. More to come from the road I'm sure...
